Our Story

Jenesus was founded in 2021 by Shantel and Cameron Cullen. When Cameron's Nana, Beverly Wilson, found out that Shantel and Cameron were expecting their first baby, she made a lovey (aka silky) for their baby Joanna-Grace. When Shantel saw and felt the quality of the silky, she fell in love and asked Nana if she could make them and sell them. Nana gladly agreed and Jenesus was birthed! Nana passed away on June 17th, 2021. Her legacy will live on forever.

Why the name JENESUS?
​
Jenesus is a name of Greek origin and is an alternative spelling of Genesis, which means "birth", "creation" and "beginning". We believe that God desires to take us back to the very beginning, back to the way He intended for things to be. This is why Jenesus exists - so that every mother and baby can become who they were originally created to be. Our prayer is that with the use of each of our products, moms will feel more equipped and empowered to fulfill their calling as a mother.
